Frequently asked questions
A few things owners often ask. If your question is not here, please get in touch.
- Why choose home visits instead of a cattery?
- Most cats feel safest in their own territory. Staying at home means familiar sights, smells and routine, which usually keeps them far calmer than a stay elsewhere.
- How many visits a day do cats usually need?
- It depends on your cats and their needs. Many owners choose one visit a day, while cats needing medication or extra company may benefit from more. We will discuss what suits your cats at the introductory visit.
- Do you give medication?
- We can support routine medication that we are confident to give safely, as agreed in your care plan. Please tell us about any medication needs so we can talk it through with you.
- What happens in an emergency?
- We agree an emergency plan in advance, including your vet’s details and an emergency contact, so we can act quickly and keep you informed.
- How do I get started?
- Request a free introductory visit. We will meet you and your cats, learn their routine and answer any questions — with no obligation to book.
